‘Stranger Things’ After-Show Now On Netflix

“Stranger Things” is getting an after-show, with “Beyond Stranger Things” launching on Netflix the same day as the season two premiere.

Remember last summer when we all raced through the entire first season of Stranger Things and then immediately regretted it because we’d have to wait a year and a half for new episodes? Our patience has finally paid off, because season two is officially here—but there’s more! Not only do we have nine fresh new episodes, we also have an after-show.

Beyond Stranger Things Comes To Netflix

The after-show trend has only just recently started picking up steam, thanks, almost entirely, I’d imagine, by host/comedian/Busiest-Man-In-The-World Chris Hardwick. Hardwick has found success on AMC with after-shows following Better Call Saul and, most notably, The Walking Dead. CMT also launched an after-show for Nashville, while HBO attempted one for Game of Thrones, though it only lasted a single season.

Beyond Stranger Things will be Netflix’s first dip into the after-show pond, and will explore all things strange on a deeper level, analyzing the episodes and providing behind-the-scenes stories. Comedian and filmmaker Jim Rash will host, and you can expect appearances from creators Matt and Ross Duffer, as well as cast members Sean Astin, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, David Harbour, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Gaten Mattarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, and more.

Of course, we all know, Stranger Things is designed to be binged, so the after-show won’t be queued up for you until after you’ve finished. It’ll automatically start playing after the finale credits start to roll, so need to worry about spoilers.
