Viz Media’s The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past Available Now

Viz Media released a new graphic novel version of the popular 90’s manga, The Legend Of Zelda A Link To The Past, with story and art by Shotaro Ishinomori.

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past lives again!

The in-demand series has managed to develop and publish insanely popular Zelda manga installments, and now fans can own a collection of the popular title A Link To The Past, in graphic novel form courtesy of Viz Media.

The story focuses on the transformation of Link as he goes from awkward young man to finding his true strength and embarking on courageous adventures. This new full-color graphic novel edition contains all 12 chapters of the manga originally published in Nintendo Power Magazine, and is available for fans everywhere.

With the original Link To The Past game being considered one of the series’ best, it only makes perfect sense that a manga adaptation would become available to the committed Legend Of Zelda fans, and having Shotaro Ishinomori as the writer and artist only enhances the series. Consider this a necessity for all you Zelda fans, and remember to go pick up the graphic novel as soon as possible!

The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past is such a rare book, showcasing world-famous manga creator Shotaro Ishinomori’s incredible art with the classic Nintendo story of Link and his quest to save Princess Zelda against all odds. We are honored and excited to make the publication available once again to North American readers from the Perfect Square library,” said Beth Kawasaki, Senior Editorial Director for Perfect Square. “Many older fans recall eagerly awaiting each new issue of Nintendo Power magazine back in the ‘90s for a new monthly chapter of A Link To The Past. While it followed the overall story arc of the original Super Entertainment System game, creator Ishinomori also added new plot twists and characters that made this a stand-alone favorite among multiple generations of fans. Readers of all ages will be captivated by this timeless story and we can’t wait for everyone to enjoy this long-out-of-print book!”
