Aaron Carter, brother of Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter, has allegedly been beaten up by fans of “rival band” New Kids on the Block. Carter told TMZ that he was spending the day in Boston for a performance as part of his tour through the US when a man suddenly approached him, telling him “I heard you’re doing a show here tomorrow. This is the town of the New Kids.” Not much later three more men jumped out of a car and did their best to beat him up.

According to the singer, however, they weren’t very successful. He boasted on Twitter that he is “a 6th degree black belt in Muay Thai… They lost.” He soon followed the tweet up by posting a few pictures of the damage that had been done and the message “Yes I’m still performing tonight.” To underline his masculinity a bit more, he also went on to state that he was not going to file a report to the police, because that would be too “girlie”.

Below you’ll find another picture of the injuries the singer has sustained, to which he adds that “I think my knuckles might be broken, but that’s what they get.”

The popstar will continue his tour through America and is scheduled to perform in Allentown, PA next Wednesday (June 26th).
