In a recent interview with KGW-TV at the Portland Comic Con, Burt Ward has officially declared that Adam West is the greatest actor to ever portray the iconic caped crusader, Batman.
Ward, best known for playing the Robin to West’s Batman, explained that when you compare him to the other actors who’ve played the role, “they are all actors, and you think of them as actors.”
“But when you see Adam, you don’t think of him so much as Adam, you think of him as Batman. That’s the only real Batman in my opinion. They are all great actors who portrayed the role. But when you think of who really is Batman, who kids really believe is Batman, there’s really only one and it’s Adam West.”
“I agree with everything Burt says,” added West who was being simultaneously interviewed.
Both actors can be seen this weekend at Portland Comic Con, along with a slew of other big stars such as William Shatner, Summer Glau, Stan Lee, and Ron Perlman, among others.
