If you’re a casual watcher of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., then you’re most probably aware of the alien spieces we’ve already seen in it, during the Guest House scenes. Well, we might not have known much about them so far, but for better or for worse, that is about to change.

Jeffrey Bell, the executive producer of Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., took a moment during a recent interview to discuss the blue beings. According to him, they’re called Kree and we’ll get to find out more about them in the episode “Ye Who Enter Here”, scheduled to air on December 2. In his words:

“Our people don’t know anything about the Kree or that there’s a planet full of them. What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?”

Fans have long speculated that the alien seen in Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. was coming from the Kree race. The show’s star, Chloe Bennet (Skye), almost confirmed the news last year but then tried to do some damage control. Once again, if you’re a fan of the show, there’s a lot of dots you will be able to connect here – I won’t do it for you so that the post remains spoiler-free.

On the one hand, Kree could give a lot of answers to questions of the characters and even ours, but they could also make a great new enemy. What do you think? Leave a comment below and let us know.
