There seems to be a lot of shake ups in television right now. New shows come and new shows go as quickly as an autumn breeze gusts through. A lot of time, desertion about a television program’s fate seems to be an ever fickle thing.
Station executives seem to love delaying season/series premiere or cancel shows within in a few episodes. The former incident has happened to Almost Human. Fox has decided to push the new program back a few weeks so they can roll “it out over consecutive nights”.
Those who have been looking forward to the futuristic show about a one-legged cop and an android will have to wait until mid-November. The new series, executively produced by J.J. Abrams, will be made into “a two-night event” so it will air on Sunday, November 17th, and Monday, November 18th. Set your DVDR to 8 PM EST if you don’t want to miss the program.
Another show being delayed a few weeks is Raising Hope. Never fear funny-fans (comedy show enthusiasts) will only have to wait a week longer to watch this new program. Fox just needs a little bit more time to finish up Masterchef Junior, which will conclude on November 8th instead of November 1st.
In the meantime, here is a lovely sneak peak of Almost Human.

From the promo, it seems watchers will not get to see very robotic looking creatures (they are machines with humanoid appearances). We also will see computer-run things everywhere (does the air around people turn into touch screens? It appears so). And, there are cars that look like orbs (which looks really cool and I personally want one). As with any action cop show, there is a lot of action and fighting. However, unlike some police dramas, there is humor. It looks like a promising show!
