Even though Ameriie hasn’t dropped a record for more than half a decade, things are quite busy for her these days. Apparently, she’s got not one, but two albums in the works, and has now dropped a brand-new single, titled “Out Loud”, off one of them.

Crafted by Rich Harrison, “Out Loud” unleashes its aggressively hard-hitting beat right from the beginning. The casual soulful vocals of hers shine on top of this percussive track as well, with the production sometimes following her soft-esque direction. Her comeback game is right on point, as Ameriie manages to not only deliver something that could stand in today’s industry, but also stay true to her roots. Even though this isn’t a guaranteed, radio-friendly hit, it will surely be appreciated among her fans. Especially since it finds her joining forces with her “1 Thing” producer after all those years.

As briefly mentioned above, Ameriie is working on two full-length records at the moment and are both expected to drop sometime this year. The first one is titled BILI and is supposed to be a sequel to 2007′s Because I Love It, while the other goes under the title Cymatika, Vol. 1 and is said to have a more percussive sound. Therefore, “Out Loud” most probably comes straight from the latter’s tracklisting. Take a listen to the song below.
