Love is in the air for two American Idol alumni. Season Five’s Ace Young and Season Three’s Dianna DeGarmo tied the knot on June 1st in a beautiful ceremony in Los Angeles at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard hotel.

The two singers first got engaged back in 2012, when Young proposed to DeGarmo on the season 11 finale of American Idol. Ironically, the two weren’t brought together by the reality show competition. They had first met in 2010 when both signed on to the Broadway revival of Hair.

According to People, DeGarmo wore a Sareh Nouri gown accompanied with pearls and rhinestones, while Young was dressed in a custom-made box suit with a custom crest – the couple’s monogram with “Forever Young” underneath. “They wanted to put their personal touch on the wedding. We all worked together to make sure every detail was special,” wedding coordinator Renée Strauss revealed.

Among the guests were Idol contestants Elliot Yamin, Michael Johns, and Kevin Covais, as well as several of DeGarmo’s Young and the Restless co-stars.

At the reception the love birds did their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Young to an original song that they recorded called “I Do”.

“This was the best way to start the chapter of my life as Mrs. Young,” DeGarmo told People.

Congrats to the happy couple!!
