Arcade Fire released a new trailer as part of the release campaign of their new album. The trailer is called “Reflektor 9/9/9” and continues to use the “reflektor” imagery used on their advertising campaign from last month.
You might remember last month there was a viral advertising campaign in various cities around the world that focused on a circular graphic with the letters that spell out “Reflektor”, to which the band later confirmed was part of the campaign for their new material.
The band will reveal some big news on September 9th at 9pm, as confirmed on this trailer. In this 40-second video we can see lead singer Win Butler approaching the microphone, followed by the “Reflektor” sign and the date “9/9/9”.
Also part of their campaign was a 15-second clip on Spotify under the album name Reflektor that features synths and no vocals, and the track title “9pm 9/9”. They have confirmed they will release a new album on October 29th, but in the meantime, we have something to look forward to next Monday!
