Fans of the Assassin’s Creed video game saga, get excited! It was announced today that its pirate-themed sequel, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, will now be available for Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 29th in all regions, moving from November 1st in Europe.

XBox One, Wii U and PS4 versions will be released nearly a month later on November 22nd.

Ubisoft, the company that created the legendary video game, has described it as the “best pirate game ever made.” It will feature over fifty locations, including Havana, Kingston, and other notable cities involved with the pirate trade. The characters shown in the trailer are Blackbeard, Benjamin Hornigold, our main protagonist Edward Kenway, and his first mate Adewale.

Kenway starts out as a privateer and then ends up rebelling and building a pirate trade.

In addition to the game, players will be able to purchase a DLC season pass, which will include “Freedom Cry,” downloadable content that expands on the story of Kenway and Adewale, who is now an assassin. The story takes place after the events of Black Flag.

Also available in the DLC will be new personalisation items, additional single-player missions, weapons, and some new characters. It’ll be available for purchase with a 20% discount on all consoles and platforms, and will be released for download in March of next year.
