Attack On Titan’s Live-Action Teaser Trailer Has Arrived

Attack On Titan’s live-action teaser trailer has landed. Many fans aren’t sure about this adaptation. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!

Studio TOHO has streamed a teaser trailer for the upcoming Attack on Titan live-action film and I must say, it looks bad-ass! Showing actual footage of the film, we see bits and pieces of our titan-slaying gang, as well as a glimpse of the fearsome titans. The trailer also revealed the release dates of the two highly anticipated films. The first Attack on Titan film is set to release on August 1st, while the second will premiere on September 19th.

As revealed by director Shinji Higuchi much earlier, the film’s plot will only span across two films. This rendition of Attack on Titan features familiar faces as well as a ton of new ones; new characters that are not featured in the manga or the anime. The script of the film was written by Yuusuke Watanabe (Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods) along with series creator Hajime Isayama and film critic Tomohiro Machiyama.

Many fans, myself included, are apprehensive about the project due to the reception other live-action films have received, along with the slew of new characters being introduced.

And don’t get me started on the film’s decision to replace fan-favorite Levi with a character that’s exactly like him. How does that make sense? I am rightfully cautious, but i’m also overwhelmingly curious and just a tad bit excited. Okay, a massive bit excited. The trailer, in my opinion, was well done and built up the rapidly growing hype.

Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts on the film!
