It looks like Hollywood’s most notorious bachelor may be off the market!
According to reports to People Magazine George proposed to lawyer girlfriend Amal Alamuddin while the pair was vacationing in Mexico. The couple were spotted out on Wednesday where Alauddin was seen sporting a “huge ring” and George apparently confirmed to a fellow diner that the pair were indeed engaged.
The next night George and Amal had dinner with Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber where Amal was again seen wearing what is assumed to be her wedding ring.
Although George Clooney has been publicly dubbed the “Perpetual Bachelor” in the past, the A-lister has been married once before, to actress Talia Balsam. Since the couple divorced in 1993, George has been tied to, and even engaged, to a list of Hollywood leading ladies.
Amal Alauddin seems to be a new ‘new leaf’ that George has turned over. A successful British attorney, Alauddin appears to be very career focused, not via for the spotlight or ‘celebrity’ that enviably comes with dating one of Hollywood’s most bankable actors.
