It’s been a few years, but it looks like there might be a feud brewing between the Backstreet Boys and Joey Fatone. In a recent sit down between Fatone and HuffPost Live’s Caitlyn Becker, she asked him if he felt the Backstreet Boys were showing NSYNC up because the group was still together. Fatone promptly responded with, “I feel like they just need the money, no offense, guys. But I’m saying, if you think about it, it’s like, ‘Why are you coming back out again?’”

Usually when says “no offense” it makes the statement sting all the more. It didn’t take long before a member of BSB to respond; Nick Carter took to twitter to air his disappointment with Fatone’s comments, “Just disappointed, I really liked joey…” And he didn’t stop there, “”I’m proud of who we are and love what we stand for. Truthfully its about not letting our fans down. Sorry bro but you have us all wrong.”

On top of dissing BSB, Fatone also crushed every 90’s girl fantasy of NSYC getting back together, “At this moment in time is anything gonna happen? Absolutely, 100 percent no…at this moment.” So in one interview, Fatone angered all of the Backstreet Boys fans, and broke his fan’s hearts. Obviously, that was some interview!

So this poses the obvious question: Backstreet Boys or NSYNC? We all know if you grew up in the 90s you had a favorite: #TeamBackstreetBoys all the way! Regardless if BSB is doing it just because they need money or not, they still give a pretty amazing concert!
