So you don’t have  Scarlett Johansson’s curves, you aren’t as tiny as Kate Moss, you aren’t large and proud like Gabourey Sidibe and you haven’t done nearly enough squats to have Kim Kardashian’s ass… So where do you fit in? Myla Dalbesio, a size 10 Calvin Klein model is here to tell you!

The 27-year old modeling for Calvin Klein’s new underwear brand, “Perfectly Fit” is a little bit different than the girls we are used to seeing in most underwear campaigns. She seems almost normal sized… or as she describes it, being in the middle. “I’m in the middle; I’m not skinny enough to be with the skinny girls and I’m not large enough to be with the large girls and I haven’t been able to find my place,” she told Elle in an interview.

The beauty of this ad campaign is that Dalbesio wasn’t singled out at a “normal” or “plus” sized model, she was cast as a model, and just that. “It’s not like [Calvin Klein] released this campaign and were like ‘Whoa, look, there’s this plus size girl in our campaign.’ They released me in this campaign with everyone else; there’s no distinction. It’s not a separate section for plus size girls,” she said.

Right now the beauty industry is changing like never before, being a model (whether it be straight or plus sized) isn’t what it used to be, and Calvin Klein gets it. Thank you, Calvin Klein.
