Sometimes we just have to follow our dreams, even if we don’t know what the consequences will be. Sometimes it works out really well. Sometimes – not so much. The latter is true for Chris Kooluris.
In a recent interview, Kooluris told Buzz 60, he “wanted to be surrounded by things he loves.” One might think he means relatives, friends, or a significant other. But, no, he means none of these things.
He has transformed his bedroom into a 1980s arcade. There are gumball machines, traditional signs from that time, toys, and of course lots and lots of video games. He grew up with all of these things and loves them all dearly, so he transformed his New York apartment bedroom into a personal gaming haven. In total, he’s spent over $20,000.00 outfitting his room with games. Pac man, Tron, and Street Fighter are but three of the games he has amassed.
Rumor has it Kooluris’s fiancé was not happy. In fact, she ended their engagement. He is apparently okay with it and now hosts weekly gaming sessions.
What do you think? Would you transform your bedroom or house into a gaming station? Would you leave a partner if he or she did that? Sound off below!
