Every year, Californian music festival Coachella boasts some of the biggest names in music – and this year is no exception, with this year’s headliners confirmed as OutKast, Muse and Arcade Fire.

British band Muse had a successful 2013 touring their sixth studio album The 2nd Law, whilst Canadian group Arcade Fire are currently riding a wave of success from their latest album Reflektor.

However, it is the announcement of OutKast as headline act which brings the element of surprise, and perhaps also of intrigue; the festival will reunite OutKast’s André 3000 and Big Boi, who have been on hiatus for six years.

The festival, due to take place over two weekends in April, will also see a large variety of other acts take the stage. Recent breakout acts such as Lorde and Haim will feature amongst other big names such as Calvin Harris, Lana Del Ray, Queens of the Stone Age and Ellie Goulding.

This year’s Coachella will truly have something for everyone, as also performing over the weekends will be Pharrell Williams, MGMT, Beady Eye, Beck, Broken Bells, Bryan Ferry, Fat Boy Slim, Pet Shop Boys, Skrillex and Laura Mvula, to name but a few.

Tickets will be available from 1pm ET this Friday (January 10th) for the festival’s two weekends (April 11-13 and 18-20), and with so many big names set to play, Coachella is surely the place to be this spring.
