Danity Kane Drops New DK3 Album Track, “Tell Me”

Music fans, grab your headphones! Danity Kane is preparing to drop their new album, DK3, with an exclusive pre-order single, “Tell Me.”

Danity Kane is preparing for the release of their upcoming, third studio album, DK3. Despite the disbandment recently taking place, the trio of Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard are moving forward with the release of the record, so as fans are not left disappointed. If you have pre-ordered the album recently, then you are already aware that they are giving away “Tell Me” as a pre-order single.

“Tell Me” is right in the middle of DK3‘s tracklisting and it’s really a decent track to hype up the album before it drops. This one serves as an electro-urban midtempo, delivered along with great vocals from the ladies, slick harmonies and some finger-snapping. Even though it’s far from a banger, it works for Danity Kane 3.0 and further proves that these three can actually get it all right, when they’re not cat-fighting. The production is nothing too special but it does work in favor of the track, as it manages to mix modern-day, slow-burning R&B melodies with electronic elements and soft closing strings perfectly.

The track comes straight from what seems to be the last album for Danity Kane. Their breaking-up was definitely bad news for music fans, as they used to be one of the most decent girlbands in the music industry and it all seemed like they were going to repeat their greatness.

DK3 is scheduled to come out on October 28. For the time being, give “Tell Me” a listen.
