X-Files alum David Duchovny and his wife of 17 years, Téa Leoni, are divorcing.
A source confirmed the news to People. The couple have been separated for two months.
According to reports, the two will share custody of their 12-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter, Kyd Miller and Madelaine West. Leoni will maintain primary custody of the children, and Duchovny will be paying $8,000 per month for child support and $40,000 for spousal support. He’ll also be responsible for any and all expenses involving the children.
TMZ reported that the divorce papers were filed in June, with “an irretrievable breakdown” documented as the cause.
The 54-year-old actor and 48-year-old Leoni first separated in 2008, after which he entered rehabilitation for a sex addiction. They got back together, only to split once again in 2011.
