Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi has been placed on lockdown in the wake of a shooting.
A professor was shot and killed before the lockdown, Bolivar County Coroner Nate Brown confirmed.
Jennifer Farish, a spokeswoman for the school, said that the deceased has not been identified yet, and it is unknown at the moment whether or not anyone else was injured.
The shooter, whose identity is also still unknown, was last seen near Jobe Hall on campus.
