Ever wanted to be a pirate? If you answered yes, then you are in luck.
Coming this summer at Magic Kingdom Park will be A Pirate’s Adventure: Treasures of the Seven Seas that put you in the role of a pirate in order to save Adventureland.
In a video posted on the DisneyParks blog, Walt Disney Imagineers Jonathan Ackley and Matt Beiler showcase some highlights of the attraction such as dangers like, what Ackley describes as a panther spirit. Beiler said the quest also involves five different pirate raids that each has its own map. Each pirate gets their own magical talisman and one of these maps that they will use to go find the treasure in Adventureland.
A personal favorite of Beiler’s is what he calls in the video a shoot box, where pirates get to fire a canon in order to open up a treasure chest.
Ackley said that each pirate will have Captain Jack Sparrow’s magical compass that help guide them as they search for the treasure.
