According to TVLine, another former employee of S.T.A.R. Labs, Dr. Kimiyo Hoshi-Light, will be making her debut during the new season of The CW’s The Flash.

However, there is one slight change–when Light makes her appearance, it will be in the female form of the hero/villain rather than the male.

The original “Dr. Light” is a villain who goes by the name Arthur Light. He didn’t only cause problems for The Flash, but also an array of other heroes. The female version was introduced later on as a member to serve on the Justice League International.

Who will play Light or what

role she’s to have in the show when she appears on screen has yet to be revealed, but after the smash-hit success of The Flash season one, you can bet their time on screen will leave a lasting memory one way or another.
