Microsoft’s earlier press conference at this year’s E3 revealed our first real look at Assassin’s Creed: Unity.
Indeed, it was pretty darn impressive, featuring the all-new 4 player co-op mode and all of the historically-based action we have come to expect from the series by now; but it was but a small taste of what’s to come this October.
In a streak of generosity last Monday, however, Ubisoft took it upon themselves to reveal not one, but two AC: U demo trailers. This includes the aforementioned multi-player one as well as an extensive look at one of the earlier assassination missions in solo mode.
The latter of these two, shown later during E3 2014’s first day, also ends up showing much of the city of Paris as it appears in AC: U’s version of the French Revolution. Citizens spontaneously rouse up fights with French soldiers, buildings are certifiably more “climeable” than they were in both ACIII and Black Flag, and everything just seems more active than ever before.
Paris itself is a beautiful sight to behold, but everything going on within is truly impressive, as well. There’s even a barrage of buildings throughout the game you can freely roam into and walk in, unlike before. Pair that with a certified stealth mode and a more complicated battle system, and my money is now effectively Ubisoft’s this coming autumn!
Check out the amazing gameplay video below. You deserve it.
Assassin’s Creed: Unity is currently slated for a release on October 28 to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
