Fans of EDM, or electronic house music, will rejoice to hear that massively popular Avicii is planning his first studio album, #TRUE.
“This is about me being true to my sound but also to my own influences and musical preferences. This album consists 100% of songs I personally love. It’s true to me, true to my brand, true to Avicii,” says the young dance star, whose real name is Tim Bergling.
Under a new partnership between PRMD Music and Island Records, Avicii’s #TRUE will be the first to be released in September. Just earlier this year, his act reached number one in the UK with his Nicky Romero collab, “I Could Be the One”.

“For me it will be successful if it resonates with people, no matter how many. It’s what I stand for, so whoever loves it loves what I love. That’s what fans are to me,” he adds.
#TRUE is scheduled to release this September 17th, according to his interview with Billboard.
