The Lyons’ are (almost) BACK!!

After a ridiculously stellar first season, Fox has announced the season premiere date of ‘Empire’, and that date is September 23rd 2015.

Season 1 of the record breaking show saw its share of crazy storylines, incredible guest stars, and introduced the world to the impeccable Cookie Lyons played to perfection by Critics Choice nominee Taraji P. Henson.

While storylines are being kept under wraps for the highly anticipated new season, we do know a few things following the shocking season 1 finale:

– Andre and Rhonda are expecting…..and will be probably covering up Vernon’s death.

– Lucious is in jail and MOST DEFINITELY plotting against his ex-wife and sons

– Guest stars will be coming in the form of Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, and (hopefully) Oprah Winfrey

– Second season will be split into two parts, with the first 10 followed by a break, and then the last 8.

Who’s excited for more Cookie…..more Jamal…..more Hakeem…..more Becky!? 

Anyone else hoping we get another drunk Cookie scene in season 2? 

What do you guys think Lucious (Terrence Howard) will have up his sleeve IF he gets out of jail?
