Los Angeles based singer Lily Elise is ready to release her new single entitled “Circles” featuring Hip-Hop artist Famous.  “Circles” is the first single off her upcoming EP Oliver.

The EP itself tells a track by track story with various themes of failed relationships woven throughout.  Oliver features various co-writers including Rosina Russell (who has worked with Danity Kane), Felix Snow (Nicole Scherzinger), and Mighty Mike (Kelly Clarkson) just to name a few.

Raised in the Bay Area, Elise began daily writing sessions with multi genre artists. Those writing sessions led her to various releases with artists in which she lent a hand with vocals. Those releases included work with artists Felix Cartel (“Let It Go”) and Dillo Francis (“Hurricane”).

After countless writing sessions, Lily Elise finally found her own voice and sound by fusing Alternative, R&B, and Pop together.  After touring she was ready to release new music.

When asked about “Circles,” Lily told PopWrapped,

“The OLIVER EP tells my story of a bad relationship and “Circles” is the end of that story. For anyone who feels stuck in something, whether it be a relationship, a friendship, a job…. for anyone who feels like they’re just going around in circles and want something different and better, you can have it. Leap and the net will appear. It has to appear, so it will. It did for me. “

What I love most about this song is the powerful vocals she has in this song. I can really picture what she is trying to portray  while listening to the lyrics. The collaboration between Famous and her was also amazing, and I think made the song that much better for me than what it had already become.  I can connect to this song on a personal level so much.  I would highly recommend this song to anyone who just needs a way to feel like they aren’t stuck anymore.
