Final Season Of True Blood Gets A New Series Regular

NULL

Rosie Clarke

Staff Writer

We’re currently getting the first slivers of info about the last ever season of True Blood. Fans will be interested to know that Tara Thornton’s troublesome mother, Lettie Mae Thornton will be making several appearances throughout the season as actress, Adina Porter has officially been made a series regular.

The character has intermittently featured on the show since season one, so it seems fitting that we see her story come to an end in True Blood’s final run next year.

Deadline has reported that Porter’s role will increase as Lettie Mae Thornton is likely to  appear on many more episodes next final season. What do we think guys, is this good or bad news for Tara? It might suggest more screen time for Rutina Wesley, who plays Tara.

You may recognise Porter from some of her successful supporting roles on shows like The NewsroomLaw & Order and Grey’s Anatomy.

Porter joins co-star Baily Noble, who plays Adilyn Bellefleur, has also been promoted to a series regular in time for the final season.

Get the tissues ready, as True Blood will be over for good this time next year!
