After the BBC delighted fans around the world by releasing an image from the upcoming Sherlock special, attendees at Comic-Con got an extra little surprise yesterday when a snippet of the episode was screened for them during the shows’ panel.
The clip was then released across social media, sending fans into a frenzy. Christina Darling (@VoodooDarling) posted on Twitter:

Neither Martin Freeman or Benedict Cumberbatch were present at the panel; however, Andrew Scott who plays Moriarty in the show, did record a special message for those who were there, with new dad Cumberbatch and show co-creator Mark Gatiss taking part as well.
With more than five months to go before the special episode is set to hit screens, this trailer will have to suffice for those craving for their next Sherlock fix.
