It’s been nearly four years since the Pussycat Dolls disbanded, and according to reports, former Doll Ashley Roberts plans on releasing her own solo project.

Roberts will serve on the judging panel during the final season of Dancing on Ice in the UK starting this month. During the show’s press launch, she talked about her music plans.

“2014 is going to be an awesome year. Music is coming, yeah – March. I’m excited! I’ve been in the studio, I’ve been recording, I’ve been writing – I’ve just been putting my heart into it. This is my baby. I’ve been through a lot in the past with being in a girl group and coming out on my own – how is it going to do?” she revealed.

The 32-year-old first appeared on the scene with the PCD in 2002, when they signed a deal with Interscope and transitioned from a burlesque troupe into a pop girl group, managed by founder Robin Antin.

Prior to their breakup in 2010, the band was one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with 50 million records sold worldwide.

“No matter how [my music] does, I’m so proud of myself for getting in there and doing it and actually getting it out there. It’s been a while but it’s going to get out there, so I’m excited,” Roberts added.

Dancing on Ice returns for it’s final season on Sunday, January 5 at 6:15 PM on ITV.
