Fox Canceled 'Brooklyn 99' And Fans Were Justifiably Angry But NBC Came To The Rescue! | Brooklyn 99 Cancelled
Media Courtesy of Fox

News broke this week that Fox has cancelled Brooklyn 99, The Mick, and Last Man on Earth after firing the lead actor on Lethal Weapon. We’re not sure what the network is thinking as they make these decisions, but we witnessed their mistake regarding B99 as fans and celebrities reacted. Andy Samberg’s hilarious police comedy will end after five seasons due to lack of ratings.

This show has been an amazing example of diversity among the other shows competing with it and it’s so funny. The cast shares great chemistry which only allows the show to shine more as we’ve watched, these last five years. Andy Samberg, Terry Crews, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti, Andre Braugher, Dirk Blocker, and Joel McKinnon Miller are an outstanding group of actors who have brought us the most amazing television comedy since The Office and Parks and Rec. Creator Dan Goor is the man behind this show and we can only thank him for the laughs and hope that someone picks up the show and lets it live on.

Celebrities were among those mourning the end of Brooklyn 99 after the news broke. Take a look:

We hope this isn't the last time we ever type these words...NINE NINE!

Upate: NBC has saved Brooklyn 99 and picked up the show for its sixth season! This is reason to celebrate!
