It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year, and that means it’s time for Freeform’s annual 25 Days of Christmas schedule to start soon.
This will be the 20th year that Freeform will be following this tradition (which has been around since it was ABC Family!).
The schedule includes classic favorites like The Santa Clause, Elf, The Polar Express, and A Christmas Carol. Non-holiday films that are on the list include Toy Story, which will have multiple marathons of the original and its sequels throughout the 25 Days of Christmas block, Frozen, and Happy Feet.
Only one movie will be premiering on Freeform this season, with Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups airing on December 9th.
While the released schedule only features highlights of the 25 Days of Christmas block, the full schedule is available on their website. Multiple other movies will also be shown, like Jack Frost, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, The Little Drummer Boy, and Rudolph’s Shiny New Year.
The full schedule also highlights that movies will be shown at different times, including the early morning and afternoon. Unlike the past years that also included several Christmas specials of Freeform shows like Young and Hungry and Pretty Little Liars, no Christmas specials have been announced yet.
There is also no confirmation of whether or not Freeform will continue the tradition of the Countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas, which starts in November.
Despite the fact that they have aired in previous years, several movies aren’t on the list this year, including sequels of some of the movies being shown already. For example, The Santa Clause will be airing; however, its sequels will not.
Also different this year is the inclusion of the Freeform app, which will allow viewers to watch the movies from wherever they are.
25 Days of Christmas will air on Freeform from December 1st to December 25th.
