Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez tied the knot on Saturday at the Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France, according to PEOPLE.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together in the Fall, had a small ceremony at the Chateau. Following French law, a civil union was held at the Chateau at 4 p.m. followed by the religious ceremony at 5:30pm in the village chapel.
The groom’s mother and brother were among the 60 guests, who were treated to dinner under an arbor followed by a fireworks display.
Six years ago, Berry told InStyle that “I will never, never get married again”. But when the pair attended the Champs-Elysees Film Festival, Festival president Sophie Dulac said, “She has called him ‘The One’… She’s said she never expected to meet this Frenchman, to fall in love like she has”.
Martinez proposed in early 2012 and gave Halle Berry an emerald engagement ring by Paris designer Robert Mazlo.
While this is Martinez’ first time down the aisle, it is Berry’s third time. She was previously married to baseball player David Justice in the early 90’s and to singer Eric Benet.
