David Ryall had been going on strong with his acting career since the 60’s, with most recently getting involved in the Harry Potter film series. Unfortunately, the actor died on Thursday, December 25.
There is no denying Christmas was a sad day for David Ryall’s family, as the actor passed away at the age of 79. The unfortunate event was first made public by Mark Gatiss on Twitter, before Charlie Ryall, the late man’s daughter, gave her two cents as well. After the former’s touching message, the latter thanked people for their support and asked them to remember her father for his five-decade-long career, instead of just Harry Potter.
David Ryall portrayed Elphias Doge in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Other films he took part in lately include the period rom-com Hysteria and the Antonio Banderas-starring Automata. He had also made appearances in the television series Our Girl and The Village recently.
May his soul rest in peace.
