Jimmy Fallon may not have nabbed an actual interview with One Direction superstar Harry Styles, but he got the next best thing in the form of Kristen Wigg impersonation the British pop star.
Fallon wasn’t afraid to press “Harry” on some of the hard hitting questions such as how did the band form and how he goes about styling his hair. What makes the interview truly charming is the fact that Kristen Wigg apparently knows nothing about Styles or One Direction, including the fact that they’re from England.
This wasn’t the first time that Wigg was willing to give up her interview time for the sake of a brilliant comedy bit. Last time she was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon she dressed up as Michael Jordan and was equally uninformed of his career as she is with Styles.
Wigg’s interview came sandwiched between guest Jerry Seinfeld and a performance by Lady Gaga. We’re two episodes into the Jimmy Fallon era of The Tonight Show and so far he’s proving that he was without a doubt the right man for the job.
