Celebrities: they’re not just for Hollywood anymore! Tom Hiddleston has added another social media account to his collection: Instagram. The Avengers actor posted his first photo, and it did not disappoint!
Who knew Loki the Trickster could even make that face?
The account has already been verified and, as of August 9, had 111,000 followers. Unfortunately, his girlfriend Taylor Swift is not one of those followers, and Tom has not followed anyone back.
Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift reportedly got together this past June, but have not been seen together in public for quite some time. Taylor has been dedicated to her New York gym routine, while Tom has been hard at work on Thor: Ragnarok.
But according to a mutual friend of the couple, “They are 100 per cent still together. They’re focusing on work at the moment but will be back in each other’s company soon.”
According to The Mirror, this will be the first time in two years that Taylor will not release a new album in October. This means we have not gotten any new content since 1989 and her catchy “Blank Space” track.
Tom’s photo caption, however, marks the God of Mischief’s return to the big screen after a four year hiatus.
Tom’s Loki will appear on-screen in the latest Thor movie alongside Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Idris Elba. According to IMDb, they began filming on July 5 and are slated to continue through late October.
Tom has appeared in other Avengers films as well as Crimson Peak, High-Rise, WillShake, Muppets Most Wanted, The Pirate Fairy as a voice actor, and in The Night Manager TV mini series.
Thor: Ragnarok will swing into theaters in 2017.
With Tom’s new Instagram causing quite the stir, it will be interesting to see how his relationship with Taylor progresses. But if she has yet to follow him, is he really under that much pressure to break his trend?
