During The Television Critics Association’s press tour this past weekend, The CW gave early renewals to 7 hit shows. Which shows could they be?

Earlier this week, The CW announced some early renewals of several of the network’s hit shows during the Television Critics Association’s Press Tour, held January 8th.

Here are the seven CW shows renewed for the 2017-2018 season:

Arrow, renewed for Season 6

The Flash, renewed for Season 4

Supergirl, renewed for Season 3

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, renewed for Season 3

Supernatural, renewed for a record-breaking Season 13

And finally Jane the Virgin, renewed for Season 4

CW President Mark Pedowitz stated, “Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas. Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

The returning CW shows still awaiting their fates are The Originals, The 100 and iZombie. New dramas Frequency and No Tomorrow have yet to be picked up for full seasons on the network, but their futures are undetermined as well.

The hit shows The Vampire Diaries and Reign will end after their respective seasons this year. The network has a new show (Archie Comics drama Riverdale) coming out. No word on when it will launch on the network.

As for the biggest CW renewal, Supernatural is heading into its landmark 13th season. Supernatural, which tells the story of brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, holds the streak for the longest running show in CW history. The show bumps out 7th Heaven, which ended after 11 seasons.

We will have to wait to see what The CW has in store for the rest of the shows. Only time will tell, and we will be right there with all TV coverage.
