You know, it’s been long rumored and now here it is!!
In her new memoir “Deep Thoughts From a Hollywood Blonde,” Jennie Garth is opening up about something we’ve all assumed was true: The feud and battles she endured with former “Beverly Hills 90210” co-star Shannen Doherty!
Courtesy of UsMagazineJennie explains that poor Tori Spelling (who was the youngest of the 3 of them) would usually get stuck in the middle of their drama:
“I don’t know why it is, but there is a universal truth that when you put three teenage girls together, some serious s–t is going to go down,”
Poor Tori, the youngest of the three of us was, inevitably, often caught in the middle and she was always trying to smooth things over, trying to get Shan and me off each other’s backs and get along, but her efforts usually failed.”
She also revealed that Shannen was never afraid to voice her opinions and ideas, even if it meant:
“sounding like a complete and utter bitch.”
Jennie was quick to clear up one rumor though, and that was that the 2 NEVER came to blows:
“One of the great ‘90210’ legends is that Shannen and I actually came to blows one time. I will tell you that this never happened — although we did come very, very close,”
“when she’d pulled up my skirt, and my bare a** was exposed for everyone on the set to see, I did snap and I yelled at her, something to the effect of, ‘Come on, b****! We’re taking this outside!’”
However, over the years, the 2 have gotten much closer (Jennie calls Shannen one of her closest friends now), but Garth likened their on set chemistry as:
“gasoline and a match.”
