Jim Parsons is about to bring nerdy back to Studio 8H when he makes his hosting debut on March 1st. The Big Bang Theory actor will host Saturday Night Live for the very first time next month, and will be accompanied by musical guest Beck, who will make his seventh appearance on the late-night classic.
Saturday Night Live is currently on hiatus to accommodate NBC’s Winter Olympic coverage, and will not be showing new episodes for the entire month of February. However, with a host like Jim Parsons, it will most certainly be worth the extended wait.
Parsons’ episode will also feature the first appearance of Colin Jost, who will replace Seth Meyers as Weekend Update anchor, and will serve as co-anchor to Cecily Strong.
Parsons’ episode will air on March 1st, whilst Beck‘s new album “Morning Phase” hits stores on February 21st.
