Jonathan Groff Heads Back To TV With New Pilot The 40s

Happy Endings fans, rejoice! Showrunner Jonathan Groff has sold a new pilot to CBS.

The single-camera comedy, titled The 40s, will revolve around a group of friends living on the same street and experiencing the good, the bad, and the ugly of being 40.

Groff, who previously worked on Scrubs and How I Met Your Mother, will write and executive produce the show.

He is also set to executive produce Happy Endings alum Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael’s sitcom, DINKS.
