Sequels and prequels are big in Hollywood these days and the next installment of Jurassic Park and its dinosaurs may make its way to the big screen in 2015.

Back in January it was announced that the sequel was expected to release in June of 2014. Production of the film was supposed to start this month; however it was halted due to time constraints and development issues. And for some time, rumors were circulating that the project would no longer go through.

But that no longer seems to be the case according to ComingSoon.net, which posted a photo of the iconic Jurassic Park logo on a giant banner with the year 2015 posted underneath.  The banner was shown at Licensing Expo 2013 and while it may look vague, Coming Soon reports that the Licensing Expo book says that the film will also be shot in 3D.

The first Jurassic Park film, directed by Stephen Spielberg, came out in 1993 and led to two sequels: The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) and Jurassic Park III (2001). A 3D re-release of Jurassic Park also came out earlier this year to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Colin Trevorrow is still attached to direct Jurassic Park 4, and we hope production doesn’t get pushed back so we can see some cloned dinosaurs grace the big screen once again.
