Katy Perry registered a new song and the name hints to a little vengeance for her ex-friend, T-Swift. The name is 1984. Sound familiar? It’s awfully close to another famous year in current music, ‘1989’. Though neither singer has confirmed the rift, all the signs point to ‘Bad Blood’ being about a business feud between Perry and Swift.
As mentioned above, Swift has never said Perry was the target of ‘Bad Blood’ but she did say the baddie in question was a “straight up enemy” to her. Perry was born in 1984 and will possibly use the track to get back at Swift, or she’s playing us all. Fans are stoked for the potential fight back track!
Can’t wait for @katyperry‘s ‘1984’. It reminds us to stand up against bullies! 🙂

While Swift’s fans are ready for battle:
Can’t wait to hear 1984! @katyperry

Whatever comes of this news, I’m sure the song will be epic because it’s Katy Perry. She and Swift should bury the hatchet, if there is indeed one, and just make a duet. That has to be the singer’s version of hugging it out. Get ready for ‘1984’ and hopefully we won’t have to wait too long.
