Hailing from Stuttgart, Germany and inspired by his father, who, himself, has contributed greatly to the electronic music business, it is perhaps not at all surprising to find that 21-year-old rising artist Luca Schreiner embarked on a career in the music world and is paving his own way through it in truly unique style. Blending classic deep house, tropical influences and several elements of progressive house, he produces a sound quite unlike any other.
Signed to Ultra Music, he has already had incredible success with his remix for Jamaican chart breaker OMI and worked with Roger Sanchez, Shaggy and Pitbull, among others, but it was his unbelievable cover of “Missing”, originally by Everything But The Girl, that really made music fans everywhere sit up and listen. To date, the track has had more than six and a half million streams on Spotify alone, which is outstanding.
In high demand to produce remixes for some of the biggest music labels in the world, including Universal and Sony, his career is going from strength to strength and shows no sign of slowing anytime soon. Which leads us to the fun news: his next single.
His new single, which sees him team up with rising singer/song-writer Mick Fousé is entitled “Time Is Up”, and PopWrapped is delighted to premiere it below, so take a listen!
Bringing together a wide array of tropical sounds and acoustic elements, it is one of those songs which all but begs to be listened to on repeat — and looks set to cement Luca’s place as a real artist to watch over the coming months.
