The members of Maroon 5 have announced that they will release their fifth studio album (titled “V”) on September 2, 2014 through Interscope Records. Maroon 5’s latest album follows the massive success of the 2012 album “Overexposed.” The first two singles from that album, “Payphone” and “One More Night,” both became international hits.
Adam Levine and his band mates, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, are reuniting with long-time keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, who was on hiatus when the band was recording “Overexposed.” The American Grammy Award-winning pop-rock band is teaming up with producers Benny Blanco, Max Martin, Sam Martin, Shellback, and Ryan Tedder for the much-anticipated album.
The members of Maroon 5 are also gearing up for a lot of traveling in the months ahead. The band recently signed a deal with Live Nation for a worldwide tour. Details about the tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
Since making its debut in 2002, Maroon 5 has sold more than 10 million albums in the United States and 27 million albums worldwide.
