On January 18th, Nabisco brought a new flavor of Oreos to the world along with re-releasing an old favorite.  Oreo premiered the new Cinnamon Bun Oreo alongside it’s fan-favorite Red Velvet (which was released from the vault).  This Oreo is said to have a cinnamon flavored cookie outside while the inside has a very strong vanilla icing flavor; the package even promises cinnamon cookies towards the bottom. 

Would I take someone else’s word on it for you guys?  Never!  I hauled myself to the local Target and picked up two packs (I had a good feeling) and sat down to do a true taste test.

So, how did the Oreo taste?  I’m going to be honest…HEAVENLY!  These cookies are a cinnamon sugar blend of paradise.  I have not enjoyed many of the special Oreos that have come to pass (I’m looking at you Brownie Batter) but these are magical.  The inside tastes just like the frosting on top of a cinnamon bun and I bet if you threw one in the microwave for a few seconds, it would melt in your mouth.  S’mores Oreos were good, but these just took it to the next level. 

I am a cinnamon junkie (I just had a Cinnamon Dolce Latte before this) so my opinion may be heavily relying on that however, these are darn good Oreo Cookies.  I hope they stick around for a very long time!
