While we’re all still watching and rewatching the new trailer for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug that was released as part of Monday’s Hobbit fan event and playing Ed Sheeran’s “I See Fire” on repeat since it was released late on Monday night, Peter Jackson has released a video of Sheeran recording the song.

The video has clips from the upcoming film intercut with Sheeran in the recording studio. The hauntingly beautiful song will be played during the end credits of the film.

“I See Fire” is now available on iTunes. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released December 13.
