Gracepoint, the American remake of Broadchurch, has acquired the acting talents of Nick Nolte (Warrior).
Nolte will be playing “Jack Reinhold, a stubborn, unmarried, willful man who has lived in Gracepoint for 20 years. He runs the kayak rental on the beach as well as the local wildlife observation program, where the murdered boy was one of his volunteers.”
It’s a fair assumption that he will be playing the US version of the character Jack Marshall, played by Harry Potter star David Bradley in Broadchurch. If that is indeed the case, Nolte will have some big shoes to fill for a role that is pivotal to the story.
Nolte joins David Tennant who will be reprising his role as the lead detective, along with Breaking Bad‘s Anna Gunn and Jacki Weaver from Silver Linings Playbook. Gracepoint will air sometime next year on FOX.
