Yes, you most certainly read that correct!

Which games are hitting mobile devices, you ask? Well it just so happens that Professor Layton  and Fantasy Life are ditching their 3DS counterparts for the mobile world.

Now, in Professor Layton we players are used to the puzzles and the cute cut scenes, but mobile is stripping that all away from us. Can anyone else say, “sad day” about this? I sure can! Despite those features being removed, mobile will have a card game with some elements of fortune telling. For those of you who never have played the game, it could still be fun, but for the players who have played it, the changes might be a tough pill to swallow.

Fantasy Life 2 on the other hand is virtually the same, but with city building and that doesn’t seem too bad.  This could either be a good idea on Nintendo’s part or it could be horribly wrong; only time will tell. The newly mobile sequels are expected to launch in Japan for IOS and Android this summer. Are you excited for this installment?
