Yup! You read it correctly!! In less than 24 hours I’m taking off for my very first twirl for New York Fashion Week. If you’re lucky enough to be able to escape from the daily grind like myself, then why not head into NYFW stress-free with Instagram-able outfits, no forgotten toiletries, Vogue (the holy fashion grail), and be packed 48 hours before your flight or train takes off.

Large Isabella tote by Annabel Ingall: I squealed in delight when a purple box was delivered from FedEx. Immediately I knew it was Paula & Chlo without even reading the custom note. Knowing that swag given at NYFW will be in abundance, tote bag consolidation will be essential for getting back on the plane without paying extra for weight or space. This baby in particular is coral orange leather that will go with almost any outfit. It’s unlined with double handles and finished touches of gold. This tote will surely snag some street fashion mileage this week!

Although Fashion Week is no longer at Lincoln Center, this collection gives a farewell to it in its lacquer set. It’s toxin and cruelty-free, which gives it an A+ in my book! To add the icing on the cake, don’t forget your nail care from my friends at Maxim Nails. It has extended my manicure 7+ days on many occasions.

You can get some of the best “beautifying goodies” in travel-size packaging, so you can be fabulous on-the-go without worrying about TSA throwing them away. Even better, they’re all $10 or less!

During Fashion Week, time is a precious, so for anything that will help will shave off hair-prep time, I’m ALL in. The Aquitex fabric is so absorbent that you don’t need to rub your hair. Just pat it dry, wrap it, relax, and within minutes your hair will be so dry that it only needs a little heat to style it. Trust me, you will thank me later.

Working out while traveling is critical to making sure my head is clear and ready for the day. With over 30 confirmed shows for NYFW, Lane Bryant’s sunglasses, active bra, and capri pants will be in heavy rotation. My pals over at Lane Bryant are doing a killer campaign (#PlusIsEqual) right now which is calling for equal representation and visibility for women in fashion. I’m excited to see the big reveal on the 14th and learn how it will shape this year’s fashion cycle.
