Many big names came out to attend Coach’s Summer Party on The High Line just this Tuesday (June 11) in New York City. Celebs sported some sharp looks at the event, which was held in High Line Park (get it now?).
The event brought out stars from Revenge, Nashville, and Pitch Perfect. One thing is for sure – these stars all know how to dress to impress.
At big gala events we see celebrities in gowns with tails and embellishments, but once in a while it’s nice to see the casual wear that celebrities sport at these smaller event. Here at PopWrapped we loved the casual yet chic looks so much, we wanted to share with you some of our favourite looks from the event.
Josh Bowman
The Revenge star managed to look both dapper and casual at the Coach event. Bowman expertly paired a light denim shirt with dark pants. He sported a dark suit hat, which tied the look together. Definitely a favourite – Daniel Grayson would approve.
Katie Holmes
The toga-esque dress and gladiator sandals kind of make Katie Holmes look like a gladiator. For whatever reason, it totally looks for the actress. The look is unique and she pulls it off well. Warning, any one else who tries this look will probably not work it as well as she does.
Anna Kendrick
It’s a mystery how this girl always looks perfect. Even the most fashionable of celebs have a fashion mishap or two in their life time – but not this girl. Kendrick looks chic in black skinny jeans, a chiffon blouse, and a leather jacket. The look is simplistic, yet trendy. Perfect for this summer event.
Connie Britton
The Nashville star looked radiant in a light blue dress that flatters her skin tone and her shape. The colour is perfect, the length is classy, and the cut of the dress is especially flattering on Britton. The dress is perfect for summer, and as an extension perfect for this event. Britton really scored with this look.
Nick Adams
The fact that this Broadway star showed up to this event makes this journalist very happy. He looks suave yet casual in a basic pinstripe button down and jeans. His coiffed hair just perfects the look..
Naomi Watts
Watts also achieved the ideal balance between elegant and casual dress with this long pink chiffon dress. The dress would swallow any other starlet whole, but Watts looks stunning in the loose fitting dress. The actress wears the colour exceedingly well.
Chrissy Teigen
Telgen looks smoking in this little black dress with lace embellishment. Her up do gives elegance to the look, as does the dress’ high collar. Her long earrings make the look stylish and classy.
