Get ready to do the Liars breakdown when we’re told to “Burn This”!
Emily, who was the victim of A2 last week, believes the car that tried to hit her is around town and heads to a repair shop where they refuse to assist her. Fortunately, Emily eyes the car in question and asks if they know who drives it but they only reveal that it’s a ‘she’. Later on, Emily notices something about Mona’s keys and thinks she might be bigger badder A.
Spencer spent the episode mostly dealing with the Yvonne abortion leak. Her father confronted her, which is silly because he is in like five episodes ever. She’s not going to be swayed by anything he says. She also had a reunion with an angry Toby, which Caleb interrupted, and Toby is really mad at him since he ‘leaked’ the information. Poor Caleb literally has nowhere to live since he took the fall. Spencer also offered Yvonne a shoulder to cry on or an ear to talk to.
Hanna doesn’t really do anything ‘A’-related. She doesn’t want to have her bridal shower, she’s mad at Caleb, and no big deal but ‘A’ sets her bridal shower on fire. Yes, ON FIRE. She also realizes that she’s been the one hiding Jordan from everyone; they haven’t been avoiding getting to know him. So, Hanna needs some more action because right now it’s just NY drama and fiancé drama.
Aria had a pretty big night. She married her parents and Ali and Dr. Rollins (which came out of nowhere — we need flashbacks!). Later, she hung out with Ezra 🙂 and he wants them to co-write his book. He thinks she can do Nicole justice by voicing her part in the story. Does anyone else think ‘A’ killed Nicole? It’s possible; we just don’t know enough yet. Aria has a little fight with Liam about it, but that won’t matter for long. Aria is subjected to a meeting and a line-up with Tanner where she says that she’s already shared everything she knows. Oh, and, later, during that fire we mentioned earlier, Aria got burned up and put in the hospital. Ezra visits her though she lied about how it happened, and then Liam ruins the moment for them.
