Rebel Wilson Rules Over The MTV Movie Awards: Winners Announced!

The annual golden popcorn has been handed out at this year’s MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Breakthrough Performance winner Rebel Wilson (Pitch Perfect)! Smash hits The Avengers and Silver Linings Playbook were the big winners at Culver City Studios, California last night (April 14), in a ceremony that featured musical performances from the cast of Pitch Perfect, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Selena Gomez with her new single ‘Come And Get It’.

The show also included, in true MTV style, an interrupted acceptance speech, when Aubrey Plaza ran on stage whilst Will Ferrell was receiving his Comedic Genius Award, and was later escorted from the venue (oops).

The event also featured the release of trailers for highly anticipated films Iron Man 3 and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

With the exception of the MTV Generation Award, Comedic Genius Award and MTV Trailblazer Award, all prizes were voted for by the fans, and you can see the full list of winners below:
